Nami helps large enterprises accelerate subscription revenue. We provide a powerful no-code platform for building, optimizing, and growing subscription-based products. Our customers trust Nami to help them move faster, optimize the funnel, and outperform revenue targets.
We’re looking for a Developer Experience Engineer to elevate the experience for developers who integrate our SDKs — and make sure our release processes and documentation are always reliable, modern, and frictionless.
What You’ll Do
SDK Release Management:
- Own the release process for our mobile and web SDKs — including packaging, versioning, and changelogs
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable builds and automated publishing across platforms (iOS, Android, Web)
- Work with engineering to ensure SDKs meet quality and performance standards before release
- Coordinate cross-platform version alignment and communicate changes clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Technical Documentation:
- Keep Nami’s developer documentation current, accurate, and easy to navigate
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to capture and explain technical changes
- Write and edit implementation guides, integration tutorials, and SDK references
- Help maintain our documentation tooling and infrastructure (Markdown, Docusaurus, custom doc portals, etc.)
Developer Experience Optimization:
- Serve as the voice of the developer by identifying friction points in the integration process
- Propose and implement improvements to onboarding, examples, error messages, and code samples
- Monitor SDK usage patterns and feedback to guide documentation and tooling enhancements
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Have 3+ years of experience in engineering, DevOps, or developer tooling
- Have experience managing SDK release pipelines using CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Fastlane, etc.)
- Are comfortable working across mobile platforms (Swift, Kotlin, React Native) and/or web (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Write clearly and with empathy for other developers
- Understand the importance of great documentation as part of a product experience
- Thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced startup environment
Bonus Points
- Experience publishing to CocoaPods, Maven Central, npm, or similar
- Prior contributions to SDKs, libraries, or open-source tooling
- Familiarity with Docusaurus, static site generators, or headless CMS solutions
- Experience in developer relations or developer advocacy
Compensation Range
Base Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 USD
Equity Range: 0.10% – 0.20%
We offer competitive compensation tailored to experience and location, along with meaningful equity in a fast-growing subscription commerce company.
